ERG Energy focuses on the R&D, production, and sales of flow batteries for large-scale energy storage. Its core R&D directions center on three key areas: development of cutting-edge organic electrolytes, structural optimization and production process improvement of advanced flow battery stacks, and optimization of flow battery system integration. Starting with basic material research, the company is committed to addressing the industry pain point of high initial installation costs of vanadium redox flow batteries. Through continuous R&D investment in core components, it aims to enhance product reliability and operational efficiency, creating high-efficiency, low-cost, and reliable flow battery products.
Since its establishment in August 2023, the company has achieved multiple milestone progress in a short period: the independently developed aqueous organic electrolyte has passed authoritative third-party testing, meeting commercialization requirements and advancing towards large-scale production in chemical plants; the 64kW/300kWh vanadium redox flow battery prototype was completed and put into use in November 2024, operating stably and reliably—marking the company’s delivery capability of the 100kWh-class products.
In the next three years, ERG Energy will focus on the core stack and system integration of vanadium redox flow batteries to promote the delivery of various demonstration and pilot projects, while accelerating the industrialization of aqueous organic electrolytes for flow batteries. As an enterprise practicing the Paris Agreement and China’s "dual carbon" goals, ERG Energy upholds the concept of sustainable development. It is dedicated to solving the challenges of new energy grid connection, improving power grid efficiency, reducing user electricity costs, and contributing to the global green energy transition, national energy independence and controllability, and the global energy revolution.
